1Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Haul collects, uses, and protects information when you use our trucking operations platform. By using Smart Haul, you agree to the practices described here.
2Data we collect
We collect information you provide directly (account details, fleet records, drivers, vehicles, loads, documents) and information generated through usage (logs, device data, IP addresses).
Operational records are isolated per tenant and only accessible to authorized members of your workspace.
4Billing data
Smart Haul never stores raw card numbers. Subscription billing is processed by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified. We only retain billing metadata like brand, last four digits, and invoice history.
5Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We enforce role-based access, audit logging, and tenant isolation via row-level security. Learn more at Security.
6Your rights
You can access, export, correct, or delete your data at any time from your workspace settings. For requests under GDPR or CCPA, email privacy@smarthaul.com.
7Retention
We retain operational data for as long as your workspace is active. On cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted unless legally required to retain longer.
